Free Butterfly Tattoo Designs

Have you been searching the internet for hours and hours looking for a hot looking free butterfly tattoo design? Well you are not alone in feeling frustrated. You see every day thousands of people look online for free tattoo designs. They often fall into the trap that if something is free it will be great. However, free is great when you are talking about food and other things but when you are talking about tattoo designs free is not a good word. Here are three reasons why free is not what you want to look for and some solutions to get around the problem.

Free Means Poor Quality

First and foremost spending time looking online for any free tattoo design is just a waste of time Sure you might be thinking just do a google search and I can find thousands of free designs. This is true. But have you ever stopped to look at the quality of these designs? They are horribly drawn by a mature tattoo artists at best. Often they are just drawn by some 14 year old who like to doodle in class. The line work and coloring of free tattoos is horrible. Remember this is going to be on your skin for the rest of your life. Do you want something a 14 year old draw in geometry class because he was bored?

Free Means Thousands Of Copies

Another big problem with free tattoo designs online including butterflies or any other design for that matter is they are over used. By that I mean thousands of people download these tattoos each day and get their tattoo done permanently on their skin. This leave you have the same tattoo design as tons of other people. This could be the same tattoo that a thousand or two thousand other people have easily. Is that really want you want? After all tattoo are supposed to be about individuality and self expression. Somehow I am missing the individuality in such a poor design.

Free Means Hard To Find

Free also can be hard to find. You will often go to free sites but they won’t actually let you download they are just using the term free to drive you to their website. So let’s just admit it now free is not always free and often it is better to just pay a modest amount for a great design and save a ton of time. After all your time is money also so why are you spending hours looking for the perfect free design?

Alternatives?

So what are the alternatives? Are you stuck over paying for a design or do you have only one other option? Well, not really there are a few things you can do. First and foremost you can always go to your local tattoo shop and have someone custom design a tattoo there. You can also look at the flash available on the walls at your shop and see if anything works. Sure you pay a little for the design possibly but often it is cheap or included in the price of the tattoo design. So these are both good ideas. Some people still feel shy to step into the tattoo shop and those people can benefit from the paid tattoo membership sites. These are inexpensive to join and you can download thousands of tattoo designs from the comfort of your own home. That way you can come in to your tattoo shop with a design in hand.
