Lower Back Tattoo Sexy and Feminine Or Trashy And Overdone?

Well obviously one of the biggest trends in the field of tattooing over the last 10 years at most has been lower back tattoos. These were insanely popular when women first started getting them. There ere a ton of women flocking into tattoo shops to get their feminine and sexy lower back tattoo design. Often they would feature flowers, butterflies, fairies and other designs that girls or women would like. However, today there are many stating that these tattoos have been totally over done. There are even some not so flattering slang names coming out to refer to these tattoos. This particular design even spawned a whole new type of jeans to be designs. Low rise designs were the perfect fit and combination with a lower back tattoo. With the new low rise styles jeans you would be able to show off that incredible tattoo that you just go. Of course it is a little bit of the chicken and egg question which one came first the lower back tattoo or the low rise jeans but anyway these two went hand in hand like peanut butter and jelly.

What this article proposes to do is look at both sides and some of the reasons behind them. It will of course be up to you to cast your own vote and always make your own choices and decisions about your tattoos. After all it is 100% your body and the best tattoos are the ones you get because you really want them and you have some inner yearning and desire to get inked permanently on your body. Don’t ever get a tattoo just because you think it is popular and in the reverse don’t shy away from a tattoo you really want just because someone told you they were lame.

Reasons They Are Trashy

So here are some of the arguments and ideas why they would be considered trashy. Of course this is just some of the reasons and others of course might have their own reasons. First and foremost the mere fact that these have been done so much has added negatively to them. I mean everyone and their sister has them now. It used to be really sexy to see a hot looking female with a pair of low rise jeans and a super sexy lower back tattoo. However now that everyone and their sister has one you find lady’s that really should not be showing off that area of their body. It is not super sexy to see someone’s thong when they really don’t have the body to show it off in that way. Sometimes a little mystery and a little left to desire can be way more enticing. So showing it all and especially when you don;t have the body to show it all is just a huge turn off. So everyone know has one and really many of the people that have gotten over back tattoos really shouldn’t have.

They are no longer original and a big thing that makes tattoos cool is when they are unique, original ideas that express something about yourself. This makes them interesting and intriguing and gets people to take a second look. These types of person tattoos engage a person to learn more because it says a little bit about your personality. Well, when it is just some silly flash that everyone else has then there is not much interesting to it.

Also all of the slang terms that have developed around these tattoos has detracted from them and made them way more trashy. For example a target for (you know what), a tramp stamp, butt antlers and etc. In fact there are so many slang terms that are very derogatory and many very funny but in the end this has really made the tattoo much more trashy then sexy.

Reasons They Are Hot, Sexy and Feminine

Well the only reason you should ever get a tattoo is because you are dying to get one. It should be something personal and something you have always desired. Not because it was popular or you think they are cute. Those desires will wear off after six months. However, if you have some inner connection and feeling with the tattoo design this desire will not wear off so quickly. So if it is something you have always wanted then it might be a good ideas to go ahead and get one.

They are still very sexy when done well and if the person has the right body shape to show off. Again a little bit of a sexy area of the body being shown off is very sexy. When the tattoo just peeks out above the jeans it is incredibly enticing and captures any guys interest. It is like a door that is left ajar you want to look in and see more. Well with a lower back tattoo peering out you want to see more and this can peek ones curiosity.

Last but not least this is a great area to get a tattoo because it is such aa great fit of a tattoo design and a very sexy area on a women’s body. The lower back and the rectangular shape of the area just lends itself perfectly to a tattoo design. Plus they are very easy to keep hidden while a work if necessary and then also very easy to show off. Thus makes for a great tattoo design.
